Experience: More than three decades of successful ministry Leadership in churches from 100 to 5000 in rural, small town and urban contexts. Lived and served in Louisiana, Missouri, North Carolina, Mississippi and Texas.
Expertise:
Years of consulting and training staff and volunteers in local congregations, denominational assemblies, and ecumenical events. Coached and mentored hundreds of secondary staff and doctoral students. Multiple terms on the board of the Disciple Leaders Network. Coach and regional leader for PAVE church revitalization program. Multiple publications on discipleship, ministry leadership, and administration.
Education: Holds M.R.E, Th.M., and Ph.D. (Christian Education/Church Growth). Served as Chair, Discipleship and Ministry Leadership Division, Director of the EdD and DEdMin Programs and Professor of Christian Education at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Member of Society of Professors of Christian Ministry (SPCM).
Entrepreneur: Launched collaborating and coaching organizations in Baton Rouge, Fort Worth and Southeast, LA. Developed a Ministry Associate program designed to train seminary students and new ministry leaders. Initiated and implemented new degree programs.
